Very Popey.

Dul @ 7:42 pm #

Didn’t he accept evolution?

I prefer Pope Benedict XVI, he looks like emperor Palpatine.

A decent enough guy. I liked him, both as a former catholic and as a current atheist.

When you saw him, you could really sense he cared about unifying the world and respecting people on their own terms.

The world would be lucky to ever have another pope like him; he honored and respected Catholics, Christians and non-Christians alike.

A *FAR* cry better than Benedict. Oy vey.

just someone else claiming to speak for a hypothetical unknown and tell us what ‘he’ wants.

delusional

I think it was cool that he accepted evolution.
He also had some cool quotes about peace.

Of course I never knew him personally, but I think he was honest in his belief. (Honestly mistaken, that is.)

Reverend AGGY™ Anti-religious? @ 9:32 pm #

He was one of the most-travelled world leaders in history, visiting 129 countries during his pontificate.

“As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.”
—Pope John Paul II

He was a cool guy who was accepting and tolerant of others and didn’t see his job or religion as a use to convert people but just wanted to be a good leader to those who did share his belief. He also didn’t use ignorance as a tool.

he was a baller
