It’s hard to believe but it seems that Pope Benedict is in favor of more Octomoms and big Catholic family. With the sky rocketing world population and the United States in economic peril, I can’t phantom the logic in Pope Bendedict’s call to a halt on contraception.

While in Africa, Pope Benedict stated that condoms are not the answer to HIV prevention. So as sexually active as Catholic teens and Catholic college kids are these days, no contraception will surely equal a rise in Catholic HIV and Catholic teen pregnancy is sure to follow.

Pope Benedict XVI has reinstated excommunicated Bishop Williamson who both denies the Holocaust and suggests that 9/11 was an plot not by terrorists, but set up by the United States as a ploy to invade Afghanistan!

The reinstated Bishop does not only deny the Holocaust, Williamson also claims that 9/11 was staged by America as a pretext to invade Afghanistan.

Also Pope Benedict XVI has lifting of restrictions on celebrating the Tridentine Mass, which includes traditional prayers for the conversion of Jews to Christianity.

To me, I feel the Vatican is showing its true face.

I did for at least 3 months and I also have to smile everytime we have an occasion to hear the Litany of the Saints at our Church and I see people who are not Catholic look at each other and their eyes get real big like “Oh wow! Where have we heard this before?”

1) Recently Pope Benedict, while “deploring” the abuse of children by “a few” of its “obviously gay” priest — totally ignoring the fact that the child abuse was actually committed by mostly heterosexuals — refused to admit that any Bishop or Cardinal was guilty of anything. He totally refused to admit that there was ANY “cover-up.”
2) Pope benedict has also recently ignored the conclusions of the American Psychological Association and several similar bodies of doctors worldwide, and affirmed the church’s position that homosexuality was indeed a psychological disorder and by that fact gay people were “inclined towards evil.”
3) Pope Benedict has also recently decided to lift the ban of excommunication on four bishop-members of the Society of St. Pius X whose raison d’etre is the rejection of the Second Vatican Council., and who still maintain their anti-semetic views. This society has made the following statements:
“Judaism is inimical to all nations in general, and in a special manner to Christian nations.”
“Catholics are not to enter into commercial, social, nor political relations which are bound hypocritically to seek the ruin of Christendom. Jews must not live together with Christians because this is what their own Jewish laws ordain and also because their errors and material superiority have virulent consequences among other peoples.”
4) And now Pope Benedict has made an offer to accept Anglican and Episcopalian priests, bishops and even whole congregations into full communion with the Catholic Church — so long as they disagree with Anglican decisions to accept women priests and gay bishops. The Anglican priests and bishops can even bring their wives and kids with them.
(While Catholic priests who want to marry and have children STILL MUST leave the priesthood. Of course those priest who have already become Episcopalians and married CAN come back as married priests). And based on past decisions these clergy MAY get divorced and remain in the Catholic priesthood, and even included the Roman Catholic Church’s decision NOT to financially support the divorced wife and the children.
Of course there is also the issue of using contraception. Anglicans CAN use it.
And then there is the case of openly gay Episcopalians Bishop Gene Robinson. One wonders what would transpire if he should opt to become “Catholic.”

Why is Pope Benedict the 16th coming to America? What does his trip mean for the Catholic Church in America?
