Pope said: “Hell exists and there is eternal punishment for those who sin and do not repent.” You have been warned!
I say: No doubt that God is love!
Yes, He has confirmed for those who are still not too sure. Apparentely, there’s plenty of evidence in the bible.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20060916/wl_afp/vaticanpopeislam_060916002446 :

Quoting a 14th-century Byzantine emperor on the Prophet Mohammed, founder of the Muslim faith, the pope said: “He said, I quote, ‘Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.’”

Wikipedia on Jerry Falwell:

In an interview given on September 30, 2002, for the October 6 edition of 60 Minutes, Falwell said: “I think Muhammad was a terrorist. I read enough by both Muslims and non-Muslims, [to decide] that he was a violent man, a man of war.”

“…the human body can remain nude and uncovered and preserve intact its splendor and its beauty…Nakedness as such is not to be equated with physical shamelessness…Immodesty is present only when nakedness plays a negative role with regard to the value of the person…The human body is not in itself shameful…Shamelessness (just like shame and modesty) is a function of the interior of a person.”

The symbol “>” means “greater than.” Yes, I will assume at least one person here (maybe someone really young) hasn’t learned what “>” means.

Personally, I do think Darwin has done more than Jesus. Jesus is simply accredited to things that are not verifiable such as saving our souls and blah blah blah. On the other hand, Darwin gave us the mechanisms that our species had to go through to get us to our current state. Also Dawkins has given us more than the pope. Pope Benedict XVI and his minions have only bought red Prada shoes and told people in Africa that condoms are a sin. On the other hand, Dawkins has been a leader in public education for many years, and he has contributed libraries worth of knowledge to the field of Zoology and Biology. Therefore, to me, Darwin is > Jesus and Dawkins is > Pope Benedict XVI.
bxixxxv (I hope I got that right): What I meant by that phrase is not literally giving the mechanisms but giving us the knowledge of their existance and the way they worked.

http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Roman%20Catholicism/pope_burning_in_hell.htm

How sad! How tragic! According to the Bible, Pope John Paul II went straight to burn in hell-fire on April 2nd, 2005. Jesus clearly stated in John 3:3…

“Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

The Pope NEVER spoke of being “born-again.” The Pope NEVER made any public profession of faith ALONE in Jesus Christ. On the contrary, Pope John Paul II placed his faith in the traditions and manmade doctrines of the Catholic religion. There is NOTHING in the King James Bible (or the Catholic Bible) about keeping the Seven Sacraments to get to heaven…nothing! There is NOTHING in the Word of God about the Immaculate Conception of Mary. There is NOTHING in the Bible about the Rosary or praying to God through Mary. There is nothing in the Bible about priests being celibate.

I wish it were not so. The fact that the Catholic religion is one of the most popular religions on the earth should be a grave warning sign to us.
Bible says Leaders to be judged harshly… He “led” a billion Catholics, and never spoke of salvation through being born again. Would that earn him a seat in hell?
I didn’t write the article, just ask if you agree with its logic.

Yes or no will do fine.

And I am not a protestant…I am not part of any church and have nothing to do with Easter, Sundays or Christmas…how is my faith an “offshoot of Catholocism” ?? lol

Pope on sunday warned at Brno, chech republic– that scientific an economic progress are forces for good and evil. They do not guarantee ‘moral welfare’.
Technical developments and the improvement of social structures are important and certainly necessary, but they are not enough to guarantee the moral welfare of the society. Man must be saved from the evil that afflicts the spirit, said the Pope
