It is necessary to return to the confessional, noted Benedict XVI, speaking to the participants in the Apostolic Penitentiary’s course of formation. The hedonistic and materialistic cultural context is causing a loss of the sense of sin and of the sense of good and evil. Priests, with the example of the holy Cure d’Ars, must guide the faithful courageously, be dedicated to hearing confessions, and…

Isn’t salvations supposed to be only for those who know Jesus or have never heard of Jesus?

wiki
“John Paul II then issued on December 6 a statement to emphasize further that the Church continued in the position of Vatican II that salvation was available to believers of other faiths: “The Gospel teaches us that those who live in accordance with the Beatitudes – the poor in spirit, the pure of heart, those who bear lovingly the sufferings of life – will enter God’s kingdom.” He further added, “All who seek God with a sincere heart, including those who do not know Christ and his Church, contribute under the influence of grace to the building of this kingdom.”
yeah, a few other sheep. But dont JW’s or Mormons believe it’s them?

Pope Benedict said, “I would say that this problem of AIDs cannot be overcome merely with money, necessary though it is. If there is no human dimension, if Africans do not help [by responsible behavior], the problem cannot be overcome by the distribution of prophylactics: on the contrary, they increase it. The solution must have two elements: Firstly, bringing out the human dimension of sexuality, that is to say a spiritual and human renewal that would bring with it a new way of behaving towards others, and secondly, true friendship offered above all to those who are suffering, a willingness to make sacrifices and to practice self-denial, to be alongside the suffering.”

Quote Ratzinger Pope Benedict speaking about Jesus:
“If we may borrow the language of the theory of evolution, it is the greatest ‘mutation,’ absolutely the most crucial leap into a totally new dimension that there has ever been in the long history of life and its development.
Specifically he is referring to the resurrection here, this seems like the resurrection redefined by the guy at the top of the Catholic hierarchy.

In every human religion or religious philosophy – Father Cantalamessa noted – man begins by saying what…
