Please tell me where it is documented that Catholics worship the Pope. It must be documented somewhere on the internet that Catholics have to worship the Pope. Many of you make that claim. It seems like this Pope has published much literature. Which works are considered his best, and what would be a good starting place.
Also, I heard that “Jesus of Nazareth” is just okay, in that the Pope made some mistakes in it. Is this true?

The Today show had a picture of a bonfire in Chechoslovokia that looked like an image of Pope John Paul II. They showed the bonfire and a picture of the Pope side by side and it did look like an outline of him. THis was on the 10/16/07 Today Show. The bonfire was in honor of the Pope on the anniversary of his death.
