WASHINGTON DC — According to freelance journalist Wayne Madsden, “George W Bush’s blood lust, his repeated commitment to Christian beliefs and his constant references to ‘evil doers,’ in the eyes of many devout Catholic leaders, bear all the hallmarks of the one warned about in the Book of Revelations–the anti-Christ.”
Madsen, a Washington-based writer and columnist, who often writes for Counterpunch, says that people close to the pope claim that amid these concerns, the pontiff wishes he was younger and in better health to confront the possibility that Bush may represent the person prophesized in Revelations. John Paul II has always believed the world was on the precipice of the final confrontation between Good and Evil as foretold in the New Testament.

The reason I ask is I saw a show on the Apocalypse on the History channel and they mentioned a prophecy that there were two believers who would oppose the AC and he would kill them and let their bodies lay in the street, and people all over the world would see them lying there dead.

No, the papacy will be the false prophet who will lead the world astray and lead to the beast, who is the antichrist! Just know that Rome is the center of some of the Revelation prophecies.

Lived so far through the lives of 6 popes now and not one has been the anti-Christ though some like old Ian Paisley howl like banshees that they were. Where’s that Armageddon?
Anyway according to the Fundies and evangelicals, the Anti – Christ has to have great charisma and appeal seducing much of the world into following him and get all nations to sign on to the New World order, take the number of the beast or whatever to trade and survive. Bush is no miracle worker and has been totally wrong with intelligence and predictions thus far. He is as popular as a turd in a punch bowl in much of the world right now. Listening to all the nonsense about the Popes on these lists as well, I see neither they nor Bush have what it takes for the job of Anti – Christ.

Although the Pope did say the Iraq war was an unjust war, I find it very hard to believe that the intelligent and wise Pope would use the term “anti-Christ” on someone like President Bush.
I am surprised that any story that said that someone said that someone said that someone said that the Pope said something ever made it into a reputable newspaper.

The last sentence of your question is an obvious falsehood to Catholics–put it this way I’m willing to go out on a limb and guess the Pope never watched any “Rapture” movies. Ever notice how Catholics never mention “end times” revelations???
Catholic New Times is a far left liberal rag that promotes ordained women priests and other garbage. It also recently went out of business due mostly to fewer liberal Catholics and a return to a more conservative church…

If the Pope thinks there is only one antichrist, he is sadly wrong. That Bush could represent the person prophesized in Revelations is absolutely wrong. I quoted you scripture above as to those that are the antichrist.
God is God and he knows. After all the Bible is his word, he told man what to write and they wrote what he told them to.

The names of the two men you are looking for are Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden. I think you can also add Benazir Bhutto to that list. He may have had a hand in her death as well.
